FANTASCI not only returned, but came back with a fire in its heart and a vengeance!
Jim Blanton did a phenomenal job of organizing and reviving FantaSci. Our many thanks to his Direction, dedication, and hard work, and to Chesapeake Central Library for hosting the beloved event.
We had a great turn out. FantaSci truly felt like a family event, as we got to reunite with many of our good friends we have not seen since the last FantaSci in 2007!
What a special treat to witness Craig T. Adams and his wife of 35 years, Debra Burrell, renew their vows. Meeting Craig T’s beautiful mother was such an honor. Such a lovely lady! It is easy to see why Craig T. is so loved by all his friends.
Dr. Madblood’s appearance is always a delight. We just can’t get enough Madblood!
Artists’ Alley was great this year! And the Authors were incredibly talented and interesting! The fan groups and clubs who attended brought such fun and excitement to everyone. It is always such a thrill to see so many Klingons running around!
Of course, seeing people show up to attend dressed as their favorite character is worth the visit to FantaSci alone.
The vendors brought a lot of cool, interesting merchandise to choose from. Many thanks to you all, and thanks to Regal Cinemas for the marvelous swag they handed out!
Last but certainly not least, who could forget Get Launched Auto Graphics with that beautiful car out front! What a great show Levi gave applying the graphics to the car as we all watched!
All in all, a fantastical time was had by all. Make sure to look for FantaSci next year for one of the best times of your life!
